Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas, Steamboat Springs (2BR)

We booked this property for multiple nights, but unfortunately the host was misleading about the reservation. Instead of being able to stay in one room for our entire booking, we were told we had to check in and out every single day. This was never communicated beforehand, and it made the stay unnecessarily stressful and inconvenient.When we arrived, the first room we were given had a strong smell of smoke, even though it was supposed to be non‑smoking. It was obvious someone had smoked in there recently, and the attempt to cover it up only made it worse.Overall, the lack of transparency and the condition of the first room really took away from what should have been a comfortable stay. I hope the property improves communication and room quality for future guests.

We were severely disappointed with regard to check in. We were told we only had 2 nights reserved when in fact we booked 4. The Sheraton had trouble communicating with the owner to resolve the issue. We had to book 2 additional rooms while we waited to resolve issues waiting for the owner to resolve. We never stayed in the unit we rented but worked out something with the Sheraton manager where we would stay in another unit and not have to move every day. We were initially told we booked it incorrectly but later the Sheraton manager told us the owner canceled our rooms for 2 nights. It took a long time to resolve but we finally were able to get a room and we did not have to move every day. The Sheraton staff helped where they could but not being able to communicate with the owner made the check in experience stressful. We have used VRBO to rent in the past and had good experiences so hopefully they will work to resolve issues with owner rentals in the future at the Sheraton Resort Villas.

The premier location to stay when skiing in Steamboat. This is our second stay at the Sheraton. You are literally the closest lodging to both gondolas and the chair lift. Hotel has a great restaurant, huge lobby bar, and a pretty good sundry shop with Starbucks. Hotel staff was courteous as always. Host was very communicative and wonderful!

Condo was terrific wouldhighly recommend. Had an issue with original reservation but owner cleared it up quickly.
